Our blog’s mission: Call attention to the lack of entertaining, English-speaking, Latino-centric feature films produced by Hollywood.
It’s 2010. ‘Bout time, wouldn’t you say?
Members of the Screenwriter Consortium contribute to an inventory of Latino-centric, English-speaking, feature film screenplays depicting American Latinos from across the country in diverse genres. What we strive for above all else: ENTERTAINMENT… from a Latino POV.
But we need your help. After all, you are the sought-after audience Hollywood so desperately needs, representing one billion dollars per year and growing. You have the power to pull the movie industry out of the Dark Ages.
Please tell Hollywood it’s time to recognize the American Latino audience.
While the Screenwriter Consortium battles industry bias, we’d like to recognize an overshadowing issue primarily affecting our Mexican-American hermanos (and undoubtedly all Latinos) enduring a historic civil rights struggle. In solidarity, our blog name has changed to LATINO HEART PROJECT’S…
